The Geelong branch of the Baden Powell Scout Guild was founded on the 22nd of August 1989 by a group of both former and current Scouts, Guides and friends of both organisations who had a desire to support the movement physically and morally. The members also wish to continue the comradeship they feel Scouting provides.
